Omega 3-6-9 Capsules (60 × 1000 mg)
A natural source of fats: omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 from NSP
→Can fats be beneficial? Fat is not only useful — it is essential for normal body function. Excess and the wrong kinds can harm health, but wisely chosen fats are a valuable energy source and support for internal organs. The most accessible, readily used form for humans is fatty acids — often called omega fatty acids. Several types matter, and next-generation Omega 3-6-9 brings all three in balanced proportions.
What is Omega 3-6-9?
Fatty acids may be monounsaturated or polyunsaturated (PUFAs):
- Monounsaturated molecules have one double bond. Omega-9 belongs here;
- Omega-3 and omega-6 molecules have more than one double bond. They are polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Research and clinical practice worldwide — including in Europe — show that the balance between fatty acids matters as much as intake itself. With adequate omega-6 and too little omega-3, risk rises for atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, asthma, depression and elevated cholesterol. A recommended omega-3 to omega-6 ratio is about 1:3–1:5. Typical modern diets sit closer to 1:15–1:25 — meaning there is not enough omega-3 for the omega-6 we consume, which helps explain many fat-related health issues.
We obtain most fatty acids from food, though the body can make some omega-9. To rebalance the “3-6-9” picture, NSP developed a supplement with a harmonious mix of these unsaturated fatty acids.
Properties of the supplement
Omega 3-6-9 brings the benefits of both monounsaturated fats and PUFAs:
- Omega-3. Helps regulate lipid metabolism, supports vessel walls, discourages thrombosis and helps break down cholesterol plaques — reducing risk factors linked to heart attack and stroke.
- Omega-6. Supports skin and hair health, works alongside omega-3, and helps ease inflammation and discomfort when needed.
- Omega-9. Helps regulate metabolism, including glucose handling, supports immune function and contributes to cellular defence.
How to use
Take as a one-month course. Depending on your nutritionist’s advice, use 1–2 capsules three times a day with meals. One course typically needs 2–3 bottles.
When it is used
Omega 3-6-9 is commonly used in Europe and the USA to support people with:
- elevated cholesterol;
- increased blood viscosity;
- high blood pressure;
- reduced vessel tone and elasticity, including varicose veins;
- low mood;
- allergies;
- cardiovascular concerns;
- high saturated-fat intake while managing weight;
- inflammatory and rheumatic discomfort;
- reduced memory, attention and concentration.
The supplement may be used alongside primary care or on its own for everyday preventive support.
Composition — NSP Omega
Omega 3-6-9 is based on 100% natural flaxseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) — a valued PUFA source, often considered more nutrient-dense than fish oil. Each capsule provides approximately:
| Fatty acids | Weight in mg | Share in % |
| Omega-3 | 500–600 | 50–60 |
| Omega-6 | 130–200 | 13–20 |
| Omega-9 | 140–230 | 14–23 |
Each capsule weighs 1000 mg. A full bottle holds 60 capsules — about 10–20 days’ supply depending on dose.
