Anthocyanins are a group of natural plant pigments from the flavonoid family that have powerful antioxidant properties. The highest concentrations are found in blueberries, elderberries, black currants, grapes, raspberries, and mulberries. Anthocyanins protect cells from oxidative stress, strengthen blood vessels, support vision, and help reduce inflammation. They are used in NSP formulations as one of the key components for strengthening the vascular system and protecting cells.

Regular consumption of anthocyanins contributes to:

  • Strengthening blood vessel walls and increasing their elasticity.
  • Supporting vision and improving the eyes' adaptation to darkness.
  • Reducing inflammatory processes in the body.
  • Protecting cells from free radicals.
  • Improving blood microcirculation.
  • Supporting the cardiovascular system.

Anthocyanins contain flavonoid antioxidants, polyphenols, and organic acids, which have pronounced antioxidant, vasoconstrictive, anti-inflammatory, and protective effects. In NSP products, they are used to support blood vessels, vision, and overall body strengthening.

How it works

Anthocyanins neutralize free radicals, preventing cell damage and slowing down the aging process. They strengthen collagen structures in the walls of blood vessels, increasing their strength and reducing capillary fragility.

By acting on the retina, anthocyanins improve blood circulation in the eyes, increase the sensitivity of photoreceptors, and improve night vision. They support the protective mechanisms of the eyes when exposed to screens, bright light, and oxidative stress.

Anthocyanins also reduce inflammation, improve blood rheology, and support the cardiovascular system.

They are traditionally used for capillary fragility, vision impairment, increased eye strain, inflammatory processes, varicose veins, cardiovascular disorders, and for general antioxidant protection.

In combination with components such as vitamin C, bioflavonoids, lutein, zeaxanthin, and blueberries, anthocyanins enhance the vasoconstrictive, antioxidant, and ophthalmoprotective effects of NSP complexes.

Beneficial properties of anthocyanins

  • Strengthen the walls of blood vessels and capillaries.
  • Improve visual acuity and night vision.
  • Have powerful antioxidant effects.
  • Reduce inflammation.
  • They support heart and vascular health.
  • Improve microcirculation and blood supply to tissues.

Anthocyanins in NSP complexes help protect cells, strengthen blood vessels, and maintain eye health. They are one of the most valuable natural antioxidants for daily protection and strengthening of the body.
